The Slayer Path at a Glance
The Slayer path connects to eight listed Breathing Styles and a separate group of weapons: Thunder, Water, Flame, Wind, Sound, Serpent, Insect, and Stone.
The path is straightforward to describe but difficult to optimize from incomplete data. Exact ability values, skill costs, weapon stats, and cooldowns are not published.
Reach Level 25
Level 25 is the common baseline for Breathing training. Use the level and Skill Point planner to plan levels and Skill Points, but do not rely on an invented XP formula.
Before reaching the target, check whether the chosen trainer route needs Wall Climb or another movement ability. Spending points for access should be part of the plan rather than an emergency correction.
Steps:
- Set level 25 as the first Breathing milestone.
- Record your current points and any planned movement upgrades.
- Follow the live quest route to the target level.
- Check the trainer prompt before farming resources.
- Unlock the style and test its first abilities.
- Choose a compatible weapon objective.
Choose a Breathing Style
Access should decide the first style. Insect has the shortest listed requirement path. Water and Wind may require larger resource totals. Thunder, Sound, and Stone may require movement or weapon access.
If two styles are equally accessible, compare their tested abilities and your preferred weapon. Do not change the choice solely because a third-party ranking places another style higher.
Slayer Weapons
Current weapon lists include Cutlass, Spear, Shotgun, Gauntlet, and Tanto on the Slayer side. The total special-weapon count is not clear. Use each route as a lead and verify the live acquisition method.
Prices and weapon statistics are not listed as fixed values here. The Build Calculator can record a weapon choice, but it does not calculate DPS, damage, attack speed, or critical effects.
Common Slayer Path Problems
The most common problem is arriving at level 25 without the movement ability or resources named by the trainer. Check the full requirement before starting a long farm.
Another problem is selecting a style that does not fit the weapon or skills already purchased. Slayer systems share build resources, so path planning should include movement, combat, style, and weapon rather than treating each as independent.
Build for the Next Requirement
After unlocking the first style, define one next requirement: a key ability, a movement route, or a weapon source. Spend points only after checking the live tree and confirming that the requirement supports your selected style.
Keep a record of the plan and recheck it after each update. A Slayer build based on requirements you can see in game is more durable than one copied from a third-party ranking.
