How to Use Skill Points in Slayers 2: Skill Tree Guide

Plan Slayers 2 Skill Points around the current level reward, unlock requirements, and movement needs.

You receive 3 Skill Points per level. Spend them around one current blocker at a time, keep a record of points already committed, and use the live cost shown for each node.

Requirements

Confirm these items in your current game build before following the steps.

Check 01

Your current level

Check 02

Current unspent Skill Points

Check 03

Points already spent on movement and combat upgrades

Quick Step-by-Step

Use this sequence as a checklist, then read the sections below for the reasoning and remaining unknowns.

Step 1

Record your current level and unspent points.

Step 2

List the next movement or combat unlock you need.

Step 3

Check the live cost of that node.

Step 4

Calculate points earned to the target level using the 3-per-level rule.

Step 5

Spend only if the plan leaves an acceptable reserve.

Step 6

Record the new balance and next target.

The 3 Points Per Level Rule

The current progression rule is 3 Skill Points per level. That is the only reward formula used by the calculator. Individual node costs are not shown consistently outside the game, so enter the price you see in the tree.

The level reward does not show whether a level-one character starts with three points or a different total. Use your current in-game balance and the points earned across the level range you are planning.

Separate Movement From Combat

Skill Points are shared across progression upgrades. Movement abilities such as Wall Climb and Double Jump can unlock routes and Breathing trainers, but they also reduce the pool available for combat nodes.

That does not make movement a tax. It is a planned investment when it unlocks access to a system you intend to use. Record the unlock it enables so you can judge whether the point cost is worthwhile.

How to Build a Point Plan

A point plan should show the current balance, the next level range, the cost of the planned node or unlock, and the reserve after spending. If a node has no stable cost, leave the input blank until you can read it in the live tree.

Do not spread points across multiple paths to keep every option open. In a shared tree, unfinished targets can leave you without a usable movement or combat upgrade.

Steps:

  • Record your current level and unspent points.
  • List the next movement or combat unlock you need.
  • Check the live cost of that node.
  • Calculate points earned to the target level using the 3-per-level rule.
  • Spend only if the plan leaves an acceptable reserve.
  • Record the new balance and next target.

Common Skill Point Mistakes

The first mistake is treating a copied node cost as current. The second is spending points before checking whether a trainer or route requires a different movement ability. The third is planning only for max level and ignoring the points needed for the next unlock.

If a node cost is not visible outside the game, use the live price as your input. That keeps the arithmetic transparent without pretending every Skill has a fixed public price.

Reset Planning

The POINTSRESET code shows that Skill Points can be reset, but its availability can change. Do not design a build that only works if a code remains active.

Before resetting, save the current point allocation and define the new plan. Otherwise the same unplanned spending can repeat immediately after the reset.

Use the Calculator as a Ledger

The Skill Point Calculator is a ledger, not a complete skill-tree simulator. It calculates points earned, current balance, planned spend, and remaining points. It does not know every node cost and does not output damage or combat power.

That limitation keeps the result useful: every number comes from the current reward rule and costs you enter.

How to Use Skill Points FAQ

How many Skill Points do you get per level?

The current rule is 3 Skill Points per level.

Does every Skill Point node have the same cost?

No. Read the live node cost in the Skill tree, then enter that price in the calculator.

Should I unlock movement Skills?

Unlock them when they provide access you need, such as a route or trainer requirement. Record the benefit before spending.

Can Skill Points be reset?

The POINTSRESET code is listed for a Skill Point Reset. Check the active Slayers 2 codes list and live game for current availability.
